Russia's invasion from February 2022 continues, but so does live music in Ukraine. The country has become renowned not only for maintaining a functioning railway system during wartime, but also for hosting full-scale music festivals despite the constant threat of air raids and bombings.

Intricate Layers: The dreamy yet complex Sound of Wasuremono
Wasuremono was among the promising newcomers picked for our showcase festival "Mucke bei die Fische". The emotional impact of their carefully crafted songs immediately strikes a chord with every audience - without giving all the intricate little details away that make their multifaceted music stand out. In his interview with us, the band's mastermind William Southward explains Wasuremono's unusual name and why their music wouldn't be the same without a small shed in Bradford-On-Avon.

What a year!
With 2019 slowly coming to a close we're often asked how our year has been. The short answer: "Very good." The long answer: "Very good, thank you. Do you want to know why?" For those who do we've compiled some interesting questions our CEO Folkert answered for Audience Mag.

What's your spirit animal? Meet the creator of Hurricane and Southside's furry faces
"I like it! What is it?" This reaction to the animal artworks of people from abroad who may never have heard about Hurricane or Southside Festival is the best thing that can happen to a brand. The wolf, lynx, bear or owl that have become an integral part of the festivals' identity all speak for themselves. Of course, all fans have always been curious about the person behind those designs. Meet Dani Blázquez, the man who created all of the festivals' furry or feathery faces.

Danko Jones Talks About Catchy Riffs and the Sound of Silence
Danko Jones and his eponymous rock trio will be performing at Highfield Festival and other venues in 2019. We're more than happy that the Canadian Rock legend found the time for a phone interview to chat about his upcoming gigs (more on that below), the band's new album and what it's like to be on the road almost constantly for about 20 years. For people who know what their shows feel like, it may come as a surprise that the spark for all this energy seems to be kindled in moments of stillness.

WE ARE FKP SCORPIO
A little more than a year ago, we started a process in the company that we called FKP Scorpio Identity. So far, it has resulted in a defined company philosophy, an employee charter, internal knowledge sharing sessions, yearly employee questionnaires and several other initiatives. Most importantly, we are starting to see spikes in overall satisfaction levels and we spur a will among colleagues to break down barriers between departments in order to work more and better together. We are not there yet, but the process is in motion and on-going! But let's take a step back to look at how this process even came into question.
